Each year I channel my Italian heritage to make a killer sauce for canning. Each year I say I'm going to share the recipe. And then reality hits, I didn't documents the ingredients and I can't share it. So let me give you a tip, make it the way you love and pressure can it. If you were to hot water bath it I'd say, ummm, keep that info in your kitchen (those who have taken a class of mine or have heard me speak will get what I just said 😂). With that said, here's to another year of you not getting my killer sauce! It shall remain a family secret for at least one more year.

Mango peach salsa. The combination is crazy delicious! How have I never explored this option before yesterday? Many of you may have a hard time getting ahold of mangos, but don't worry, I give you a more commonly found substitute, APPLES!

I use to gag when trying to eat fruit salsas...until I started making and canning my own. And shoot, if you don't want to can it this recipe it is incredible fresh!

My granddaughter's curiosity is contagious! She walked through the garden multiple times smelling the flowers, eating broccoli, green beans, and raspberries. She even noticed the new leaf cutter bee condo from @kindbeefarms. The plants and I reap from the pollination and she gets to reap the enjoyment of running around our garden space without getting stung!

Now, that's not to not say we will never have honey bees, just not here. One day soon, but until then, these will do perfect!

I love my geese, I truly do. Only a breeding pair

I love my geese, I truly do. Only a breeding pair of each, the Toulouse and Buff, will be kept, which means 4 will go into the freezer. I have never adored poultry like I do these guys. I'm telling you, regardless of how long we live this life some things will never be easy. And picking between who to keep is always a tough choice.
