Sweet and Buttery Pie Crust

Sweet and buttery pie crust, is there another type? Plain Jane crusts are nothing in comparison to sweet and buttery. This recipe will take only minutes to make and seconds to devour. Pretty typical for something delightful for the tummy.

  • 1 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 tbsp Organic Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 stick Unsalted Butter cold
  • 1/4 cup Water iced


  • In bowl, combine flour,salt, and sugar. Using a pastry cutter cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Using one tablespoon at a time, add water until the mixture can form a dough ball. 
  • Wrap dough in plastic and refrigerate. Allow the dough to rest for a  rest for a minimum of 30 minutes to overnight.
  • Roll to fit a 9 inch pie dish.


This pie crust recipe will keep up to two days refrigerated.
